About Kitchen Emporium — Chatsworth, CA
We started as a cabinet dealer and turned into the contractor who installs them. That’s the short version. Elias Deukmajian opened the business with his brother Jerry more than 25 years ago; Elias’s daughter Natalie joined in 2019, and several of our installers have been on the crew for over twenty years. Everything runs out of one showroom on Devonshire Street in Chatsworth. Come in, open a drawer, put a quartz sample against a cabinet door, and get a real number the same week — that’s the whole business model.

We Are in Chatsworth, and Only in Chatsworth
One location. One crew. One place your job is actually managed from, rather than a number that routes somewhere else. The showroom sits at 21417 Devonshire Street, corner of Devonshire and Canoga, in the Ralphs shopping plaza, with parking out front. Open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. From there we serve the San Fernando Valley and the eastern Conejo Valley — Granada Hills, Porter Ranch, Northridge, Reseda, Canoga Park, West Hills, Woodland Hills, Encino, Tarzana, Studio City and Sherman Oaks, plus Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Camarillo, Agoura Hills and Calabasas. If you’d rather not drive in, we come to you.
A Family Business, Not a Franchise
The people who own this place are the people you’ll deal with. That’s not a slogan, it’s a staffing reality — a small family company can’t hide behind a call center, and a bad cabinet install would follow us around a neighborhood we’ve worked in for a quarter century. Two brothers started it. A daughter runs part of it now. The installers have been here long enough to have redone kitchens for the same families twice. CA Licensed Contractor #947147, and AAA-rated by the Business Consumer Alliance.
What We Do
Kitchens and bathrooms, start to finish. Cabinets, quartz and granite countertops, tile and backsplash, vanities, and the installation of all of it. The complete kitchen package runs $8,950 installed — 20 linear feet of solid-wood cabinets, a choice of ten quartz countertops, a 6-inch backsplash and an 18-gauge stainless sink, free with a kitchen purchase. Bigger kitchens and layout changes price separately. Most of the homes we work in are older Valley houses, and that costs more to maintain than people expect: Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies found improvement spending on pre-1980 homes ran 24% higher in 2023 than on homes built since 2010.
How a Project Runs
It starts with a free visit. We measure your kitchen, bring door and slab samples, and leave you an estimate. No charge. No obligation to buy anything. If you want to see the room before it exists, we’ll put together a design rendering with the pricing laid out. Then you pick your finishes, we order, and when the material lands our own installers set the cabinets, template and install the counters, and finish the tile. Most cabinet installations are done within a week of delivery. The ordering lead time is the longest part of the calendar, which is why we push people to measure early rather than late.
Why We Sell at Wholesale to the Public
Because we buy the cabinets ourselves, there’s no one in the middle adding margin. Most kitchen showrooms sell retail and don’t install. Most contractors install and mark up somebody else’s cabinets. We do both. The price stays near wholesale, and one company answers for the result. Our boxes are solid wood, with no particle board — the part nobody notices until a supply line drips for a month. Twenty kitchen finishes are in stock, from White Shaker and Dove to Espresso, Mahogany and the glazed tones, in contemporary, transitional and traditional door styles.
